Haryana NCP to lay claim for three seats

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">KARNAL: The Nationalist Congress Party of Haryana will lay its claim on three Parliamentary seats while deciding allotment of tickets with Congress party in State. Haryana NCP President Vedpal on Tuesday told TNN that party had already conveyed to NCP Central leadership that it intended to contest Karnal, Kurukshetra and Ambala Parliamentary seats where NCP had a solid vote base.<br /><br />This was the minimum the Congress party should concede in order to forge strong political alliance with NCP in Haryana. Vedpal claimed that NCP workers had actively participated in Sonia Gandhi''s road show in Haryana. <br /><br />He welcomed decision of the Election Commission of India to allot the original symbol and flag of NCP to Sharad Pawar group. Vedpal accused former Speaker PA Sangma of hatching a conspiracy with BJP to harm the poll prospects of NCP by raising symbol issue on eve of Parliamentary poll.<br /><br /><formid=367815></formid=367815></div> </div>
